Registration Guidelines/Policies :-

Mode of Payment

a. Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.

**Kindly make payments using 3D Secure cards**

3D Secure stands for 3 Domain Server, there are 3 parties that are involved in the 3D Secure process :
• The company the purchase is being made from.
• The Acquiring Bank (the bank of the company)
• VISA and MasterCard (the card issuers themselves)

The scheme is a collective of Verified by VISA (VBV) and MasterCard Secure Code (MSC). It is the most recent fraud prevention initiative that is available at the moment.

As 3D Secure is controlled by VISA and MasterCard the following cards can be used : VISA, VISA DELTA, MASTERCARD, MASTERCARD DEBIT, INTERNATIONAL MAESTRO, UK MAESTRO, LASER, and VISA ELECTRON.


b. Telegraphic Transfer ** (Finance Charge: An additional 8 USD will be charged for each telegraphic transaction).
** (A copy of the Payment Advice must be sent to 20aac@actuariesindia.org as proof of remittance).

c. The payment will not be accepted in Cash/ Cheque/ Demand Draft.

Important Points to Note

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) or Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits: The CPD/CPE credit will be seven hours each for attending the 20th AAC on 10th and 12th November, 2016 and three hours for 11th November, Nov 2016. It should be up to the participant to claim credit for CPD/CPE hours from respective actuarial association in terms of rules in this respect of such association. 20th AAC Committee however shall issue CPD certificate.
• For IAI members the CPD allotment would be as per APS 9. The member will have discretion to bifurcate between technical and professional CPD. However, member will have to keep the evidence and justification for bifurcation of hours claimed.
• In our efforts to make the 20th AAC an eco-friendly conference, distribution of printed conference materials will be minimized. Please be informed that papers and presentations will not be provided in hard copy. These will be instead made available on our website at www.actuariesindia.in
• Registration will be confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
• Conference fees includes admission to all conference sessions, lunches, coffee breaks, registration materials, entrance to Welcome Cocktail Reception, Half day City Tour & Farewell Dinner.
• All Bookings made under the Early Bird Discount offer must be submitted and paid for, on or in advance of the Early Bird Discount deadline date, to qualify for that rate.
• Your email ids and contact details will not be shared with any external agency/organization.
• Optional Spouse Tour – This tour is not included in full conference registration package. There is additional cost involved.
• Registered accompanying person (Only Spouse) are entitled the complimentary participation in Welcome Reception, Farewell Dinner, and Half-day Tour.
• If you had made an unsuccessful online payment, the amount debited from your account will be reverted back to the same account in 8 – 10 working days.
• The organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to any delegate as it deems fit. The organizer will make every attempt to accommodate all registered delegates. However it reserves the right to stop registration before the closing date in the event of a full house. In the event of a full house, the organizer will contact unsuccessful delegates to arrange for a refund of any registration fees that may have been paid.

Cancellation and Refund

A. If, for any reason, the Conference, or any part thereof, is prevented from being held, or the Event Venue becomes unavailable, the Organizer may cancel or postpone the Conference. In such event, the Organizer shall not be responsible for delays, damage, loss, increased costs, or other unfavorable conditions arising by virtue thereof, and the delegates waives all or any claims for loss, expense or damage against the Organizer arising there from.

B. Refunds will be made for cancellations received in writing (by email) latest by 30th September, 2016. A cancellation fee of 20% of registration fee per delegate is applicable. No request for refunds will be entertained after this date. The refund is applicable only on online individual Registrations.
